The ideal candidate will be able to perform basic problem solving to resolve financial conflicts and obtains immediate payment resolution to pay off debt.
Responsibilities and Duties
Negotiates debt resolution on all accounts with delinquent customers through telephone contact to become current, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Performs basic skip tracing to obtain location information for consumers (Residence address, phone number, and place of employment).
Qualifications and Skills
High School graduate, or higher. The ability to multi-task and switch between different computer programs. Knowledge of FDCPA and other regulatory guidelines for the collection industry is a plus. To ensure the highest standard of compliance, collectors must pass a semi-annual compliance exam. Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills. Ability to be compassionate and to show understanding to those individuals who are in difficult situations. Must have a positive professional attitude. English/Spanish bilingual a plus. After initial training, the position will be full time.
